Introduciiiiiinnngggg: Alesya Bags

Surely everyone remembers how much I absolutely gasp. swoon. faint. over delicious bags. Everyone is nodding, right? Of course you are!

Last December at my lavish! conference, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the most dynamic bloggers, business women and all around cool girl, Alesya Macatol. Her smarts and her style took my breath away in an instant.  She had a dream. A dream that one day, all across the land, stylish girls like us would be able to sport laptop bags that were not only functional but equally chic. That was December 2010…a mere 6 months and some change ago.

I am proud to share that Alesya’s dream has come true. Today marks the official launch of Alesya Bags. Don’t you absolutely love the branding? Right! And I’ve not yet begun to gush about the bags! Over the past 6 months, Alesya has used her mere blog as a focus group to create her first line and it has been exciting to participate.  The really cool thing is that she listened! She really, really listened!

And the bag is now our babies….I received my kelly green bag yesterday. As I was opening the box, Mr TBS said “That’s a laptop bag? It’s really stylish!”  Oh yes, even men know Alesya has struck gold.  Speaking of men, Alesya has shared that her motivation for designing her bags is that, while they have been functional, most laptop bags are designed by men. *clutching pearls here*

I’ve a full day of meetings and I am about to pack my MacBook, phone, journal, wallet and traipse about Atlanta’s westside in my FABULOUS Alesya Bag. You should grab yours. Stat. Don’t say I did not warn you.
